CURRICULUM VITAE: Dr. Monica Carbajal, Corporate Trainer
Education
Dr. Monica Carbajal attended the California School of Professional Psychology, located in Los
Angeles, California, graduating with a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology. Dr. Carbajal’s dissertation was
titled “An Exploratory Study of the Predictors of Work Team Effectiveness in a Multicultural Workplace”.
Dr. Carbajal previously received a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Psychology from the California
School of Professional Psychology, located in Los Angeles, California. In addition, she has received a
Bachelors of Arts Degrees in Psychology, Sociology, and Human Services, with honors, from Western New
Mexico University, located in Silver City, New Mexico.
Volunteer Service
While attending Western New Mexico University, Dr. Carbajal was involved in “Project
Success”, providing peer mentorship, tutoring for incoming students, and counseling students, helping them to
adjust and cope with the unfamiliar college environment. She is also an inductee in the prestigious Student
Hall of Fame at Western New Mexico University, for her accomplishments in education and her assistance to
the University.
PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
Dr. Monica Carbajal is a professor in psychology and business and a Corporate Trainer for Compliance
Training Group, a subsidiary of Diversified Risk Management, Inc., headquartered in Los Angeles, California.
Dr. Carbajal has over fifteen years of experience in the design and implementation of human resource policies
and procedures. She is also practiced in the areas of stress/anger management and the implementation of high
performance work teams in multicultural organizations. Dr. Carbajal has been sought out by several lucrative
industries, including financial institutions, major hotel chains, transportation services, medical services, and
law enforcement agencies.
Dr. Monica Carbajal has worked with Compliance Training Group since September of 2005, as a Corporate
Trainer. She specializes in sexual harassment prevention training and education programs for executives,
supervisors and employees. Dr. Carbajal has provided numerous training participants with practical tools for
the identification and early intervention of potentially disruptive employee conduct. She has helped
employers reduce risk, and the expense related to unethical, illegal or irresponsible activities that negatively
impact the workplace.
Recently, Dr. Carbajal has been instructing corporate executives on effective leadership skills and
administering personality assessments to include the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
